Job Summary
Best Trails & Travel is looking for professional motorcoach operators. We take pride in providing the finest quality motorcoach transportation services. We offer a wide range of services, including local and long-distance travel, airport transport, and single and multi-day trip coaches.
Our fleet ranges in size from 24 to 56 passenger coaches. We are the official sponsors of the Brooklyn Nets, Barclays Center, St. John’s University, New York Red Bulls, and the New York City Football Club. We pride ourselves on excellence!
Responsibilities and Duties
- Drive motor coaches on scheduled inter-city service runs, charter trips, tours, or any other trips as needed. This may include, if necessary, waiting for your passengers to return from their scheduled activities with Motor Coach.
- Plan, coordinate, and interface with other drivers and company personnel in order to execute the dispatch trip as a cohesive service. This will require advanced trip planning and communication with others while performing the driving duties.
- Vehicle inspections and maintenance as directed by BTT maintenance personnel. Fuel the vehicle when needed, and routinely check all fluid levels and pressures.
Paper Work and Communications:
- Document hours of service logs, vehicle cab cards, inspection records, charter/tour dispatches and envelopes, receipt management for all expenses, and other sundry paperwork.
- Call/check in daily with company dispatch and maintenance personnel frequently and on a need basis. All paperwork is to be submitted at the conclusion of the assignment but no later than the next morning.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have clean CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement.
- Minimum three years of bus driving experience.
- Must be 19-A Certified.
- Must have knowledge of the five boroughs.
- Must be knowledgeable and capable of doing logs.
- Must be available on weekends and some holidays.
- Ability to work with corporate clients.
